Things we love about living in San Antonio!

Here are just a few of the things I'm loving about San Antonio so far!

Rudy's... "The worst BBQ in Texas" is what the sign says. It's interesting marketing, right? The BBQ is INCREDIBLE!

My parents came to help us unpack. Mom is a machine! We had the house unpacked in a few days so we were able to take a break and have Marble Slab ice cream!

The alamo! This historical building sits smack dab in the middle of downtown San Antonio!

The carriages are lined up next to a wall by the alamo.

No trip to San Antonio is complete without a trip to Casa Rio on the riverwalk. My parents are entertaining us with their menus.

I love the brightly colored umbrellas at Casa Rio!

My sis-in-law and niece came to visit after the parents left and we found a new favorite bakery at Cupcake Couture. Yum!
My husband stole our niece's new pink sunglasses at dinner. How cute are these two?

We found a Disney store and got her a Mickey and Minnie.

My husband was just as excited as our niece about the toy trains in a local book store.

She liked the waterfalls at one of the malls. Seeing this little face makes my heart so happy.

We went to Sea World for the day and we all had a blast! I had no idea how big this park is! It's like a huge aquarium, amusement park, and water park all in one huge place! Huge! Yes, we have season tickets and plan to go back as soon as possible. :-)

Our niece loved the whales! She was so excited at the Shamu show.

My sis-in-law and niece stopped to see the flamingos.
It looks like we were wrestling a toddler in front of the whale statue. Our niece was WAY more interested in looking at Shamu than at the camera.
What a great start to our new life in San Antonio!

Congrats on the move =) I have only been to San Antonio once and I was really young so I don't remember much. It'd be fun to go back for a visit!
