So I realize this may sound
But I want to do a triathlon... which means that my husband has to do one too. I am in the process of planting these ideas in his head. He is becoming more and more adventurous since we have been running and biking, so I bet he will be up for it.
The image comes to mind of me at my first triathlon in floaties, an inflatable Scooby Doo raft, a snorkel, and a full face mask. And don't forget the super cool flipper fin things for my feet. Oh yeah, I will be so fast (as I flail my way into the water) that they may rescue me by mistake. I will try to explain to the lifeguard "I'm not drowning- this is always HOW I swim!"
One of my friends is doing her first triathlon this weekend and she has inspired me to try it too.
I found a sprint triathlon in June.
400 yd swim / 13 mi bike / 3 mi run
Now I need to learn how to swim.
I have a month and a half.
How hard can it be?
Gulp.

Just read your comment on Solar's blog....did you see The Biggest Loser last night? Wow, tear jerker! I love those people so much, all of them!
You are so funny and I know that you can do this. Just keep remembering where you started and where you are now with you’re running.
Me being in a pool still mostly involves going off the diving board or on a float with a drink in hand :)
Definitely keep us posted!
