At one point during my workout, I was being outrun by a woman who was probably in her 60's and had arm wrinkles.
Let's just call her Lois because that sounds like a good name for her.
Lois was huffing a little bit, she had her white Reebok princess shoes smoking on the treadmill, and she was rocking out with an iPod.
Does it seem like everyone else's mom or grandma wears these shoes?

I was running at 5.8. She was running at 6.0.
Lois rocks the Reebok Princess and she is my new hero! Man, I hope I can still run when I have arm wrinkles!
You can bet I'll be sporting these shoes when I hit 60 years old. How about you?

Ha ha ha I bet we will all totally have them when we are old!!!
:) And good for her for getting it on the treadmill!! And even though you felt slow - at least you were there working out!!!! :)
Have a great weekend!!
I worry about Lois not having enough support in her Princesses!
I am super slow and last night my knee started being ugly....errrr I thought $2600 fixed all this mess.... LOIS rocks....I dig the princess shoes....just like Tyler's grandma Daisy =)
I love that you named her Lois. It sounds fitting. Good for her for rocking the Reebok Princess sneaks and running her tail off. I agree that older ladies seem to love these shoes.
I also have to give you credit for doing 5.5 miles in under an hour. You go girl :)
Thank you, I will definitely check out petfinder.com! LOVE the story about Lois. Amazing job with your running. Keep it up, girl!!
Haha!!
I totally hear ya. That's a great pace! I'm lucky if I can stay at 5.0 for 2 miles :)
PS: I have my degree in bio too! :)
I think you are doing great! I haven't worked out in a while. Life has been too busy so working out and blogging were the two things to slip. Hopefully I can catch up now.
